When you’re in the thick of nursing, pumping, and keeping a tiny human alive, the last thing you need is another task on your plate. That’s why we’re sharing one of our favorite quick, no-fuss snack recipes that supports milk production and satisfies those never-ending snack cravings—Energy Ball Bites.
These nutrient-rich, no-bake bites were made with our mamas in mind. Whether you’re cluster feeding at midnight or heading out the door for a pump-at-work session, this recipe is packed with ingredients that fuel your body, boost your milk supply, and actually taste good.
🌿 Ingredients
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup ground flaxseed
3 tablespoons brewer’s yeast (hello, milk production!)
1 cup natural peanut, cashew, almond, or other nut butter
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or peanut butter chips (can be dairy-free)
2–3 tablespoons water (if needed)
Optional add-ins: 1/4 cup chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes
🌀 Directions
In a large bowl, combine oats, flaxseed, and brewer’s yeast.
Add in the nut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Fold in chocolate chips and any optional add-ins like chia seeds.
If the mixture feels too dry, add water—just 1 tablespoon at a time.
Roll into 1-inch balls (get those hands moving!).
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
💡 Mama Tips
Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
