ABOUT ME
I am Tiffani Dickerson, owner of The Breast Choice Lactation Services LLC. I have been a registered nurse since 2008 and have a background in NICU. In 2018, I had twins born prematurely and transitioned from a NICU nurse to a NICU mom. Becoming a NICU mom ignited my passion for supporting other NICU mothers. The support I received from the lactation consultants in the NICU supported our 15-month breastfeeding journey. This experience empowered me, so I decided to obtain my IBCLC to help other parents with breastfeeding. In 2019, I obtained my IBCLC certification. In 2021, I welcomed another daughter, whom I breastfed for 20 months. Prenatal breastfeeding education is my passion. I believe breastfeeding is most successful with ongoing support. My goal is to make breastfeeding support affordable and obtainable. I am partnered with The Lactation Network (see information below to check your eligibility), which allows some consumers to utilize their insurance benefits. I look forward to supporting you on your breastfeeding journey.

Q: What should I expect from my first lactation consult with The Breast Choice Lactation Services LLC?
A: Your first lactation consult with The Breast Choice Lactation Services LLC will be a comprehensive assessment of your breastfeeding experience. We will discuss your breastfeeding goals and evaluate the feeding process for you and your baby. During this visit, we will assess your baby’s latch, positioning, and any other concerns you may have about your breastfeeding journey. We also offer flange fitting and pumping support.
Q: What is The Lactation Network?
A: The Lactation Network works with insurance providers to deliver in-home, in-office, or telehealth consultations. The Lactation network utilizes insurance benefits with Cigna PPO, BCBS PPO, PNOA & and Multicare logo plans. The Lactation Network bridges the gap to connect private practice IBCLC to families in need of lactation support. Some BCBS PPO plans are approved via The Lactation Network which works differently than having your claim filed directly by our biller. For more information see Insurance Info.
Q; Do you have an office?
A: Yes! We have an office space in Desoto, TX to support Sothern Dallas and Ellis County (Waxahachie, Midlothian, Ennis, Milford, Forreston, Italy, and other Ellis cities ). On Fridays, we work out of the Ft Worth Birth Center offering 1-hr sessions to Tarrant County families.
Q: What areas does The Breast Choice service for home visits?
A: Generally on Thursdays we offer home visits and service a 25-mile radius of Desoto, TX, and render service to Dallas, Ellis, and Tarrant County. An applicable convenience fee will be incurred for all home visits. For more information, please see our RATES.
