A Decade at the Bedside
Our founder, Tiffani Dickerson, became a registered nurse in 2008 and spent years in the NICU, learning the most vulnerable side of new life. Tiffani understood feeding struggles, premature births, and the weight that parents carry, clinically. But Tiffani hadn't lived it yet.

27 Weeks Changed Everything
In 2018, Tiffani delivered her baby prematurely at 27 weeks. In an instant, she went from being the nurse to being the mom, on the other side of the glass. She knows what it feels like to pump milk at 2 a.m., hoping it's enough. To feel helpless. To need someone who truly understands.
THE MISSION
From Passion to Practice
That experience transformed things. Tiffani became an IBCLC in 2019 and founded The Breast Choice in 2022, determined to make expert lactation support affordable, accessible, and deeply human for every family in our community.

Tiffani Dickerson, BSN-RN, IBCLC is the founder and CEO of The Breast Choice Lactation Services LLC. With over 15 years in nursing, a foundation in NICU care, and her own premature birth experience, she brings a level of empathy and expertise that goes beyond credentials.
She is partnered with The Lactation Network and is in-network with United Health Care and Cigna, making her services accessible to more families who need them.
