At The Breast Choice Lactation, we know that healing starts with connection—and what’s more powerful than the loving touch between a parent and their baby? This past March 7-9, we had the honor of hosting an Infant Massage Training with Suzette Reese, a master educator in the art of touch. And let’s just say… the magic was real.
Infant Massage Ain’t Just a Luxury—It’s a Game-Changer
Babies are born craving touch—it’s how they feel safe, soothed, and seen. And when parents learn to use their hands with intention, it transforms everything:
Better Sleep, Less Fuss – Gentle strokes calm the nervous system, helping babies sleep deeper and cry less. (Because we need rest, too!)
Bye-Bye Colic & Gas – The right touch eases tummy troubles, making digestion smoother and nights more peaceful.
More Connection, Less Guesswork – Touch helps babies regulate their emotions and communicate their needs before words ever come.
Confidence Boost for Parents – You already have everything your baby needs. Massage is just one more tool to tap into that power.
What We Saw at the Training
The room was filled with babies melting into their parents’ hands—cooing, stretching, and relaxing into their new favorite routine. We saw:
Parents lighting up as they realized how much their touch soothed their babies.
Babies going from fussy to fully relaxed, some even drifting into a deep nap mid-massage.
Families leaving with confidence, knowing they had a new way to bond, comfort, and connect.
