WHY I RECOMMEND BRAINTAP TO EVERY POSTPARTUM MOM I SEE

I have recommended a lot of things in my career as an IBCLC. Specific pumps. Specific herbs. Flange sizing tools. Feeding positions. The list is long.

But BrainTap is the recommendation I keep coming back to — not because it is trending, but because I have watched it make a real difference for the mamas I care for.

WHAT I KEPT SEEING

Time and time again, I would work with a mama who had everything technically in place. Good latch. Appropriate pump. Strong nutrition. Consistent schedule. And yet something was still not clicking. Supply was inconsistent. Letdown was slow. She was exhausted in a way that felt impossible to recover from.

In almost every one of those cases, what was missing was nervous system support.

HOW BRAINTAP WORKS

BrainTap uses guided audio sessions combined with light and sound frequencies to help the brain shift into a restorative state. Think of it as a reset for a nervous system that has been running on overdrive.

Postpartum is one of the most neurologically demanding seasons of a person's life. Your brain is managing new hormone levels, sleep fragmentation, heightened vigilance around your baby, and the massive emotional weight of new parenthood. BrainTap gives your brain a structured opportunity to come down from that state.

WHAT MAMAS REPORT

After consistent BrainTap use, mamas in my practice report falling asleep faster during naps, feeling more emotionally regulated, experiencing stronger and more consistent letdown, and having more mental clarity throughout the day.

Those are not small things. Those are the things that make the difference between surviving the fourth trimester and actually moving through it with some grace.

BrainTap sessions are available as a $50 add-on to your lactation visit. If you are curious, ask about it when you book — or add it directly at the link in bio.

With Gratitude,

Tiffani Dickerson RN IBCLC
